What was your favourite thing to do in Fiji & why?

Drinking signature cocktails and swimming at Malamala Beach Club’s infinity-edge pool.

What was your favourite view?

There were too many beautiful views, but any sunset view in Fiji was breath-taking.

What was your favourite resort & why?

It had to be Sofitel Fiji Resort because of the amazing adults-only beach club.

What surprised you about Fiji?

The people were truly friendly, which made my stay worthwhile.

Your favourite food or restaurant in Fiji?

The 5-star food by legendary Chef Lance of Malamala is unbeatable.

What would make you go back to Fiji?

The next time I feel like sunbathing or just feel the need to stop and chill, I would go back to Fiji!

TOP TIP: Bring a soothing after-sun Aloe Vera gel and a hat when basking in the sun!

What was your favourite thing to do in Fiji & why?

I enjoyed the day out at the Malamala Beach Club! It had an amazing vibe—anyone can relax by the pool, go snorkeling or paddleboarding, eat and drink, or simply enjoy the scenic views, beach, and weather!

What was your favourite view?

The sunset at the Sheraton Fiji Resort was probably my favourite – such mesmerising colours of red and orange!

What was your favourite resort & why?

Radisson Blu Resort Fiji had a beautiful atmosphere and delectable food. Suitable for families, Radisson facilities includes an epic Kids Club so the whole family is happy.

Your favourite food or restaurant in Fiji?

Malamala provided an incredible lunch experience, and the food at Radisson was remarkable, especially the chicken wings!

What would make you go back to Fiji?

The Fijian culture, welcoming people and relaxing vibe would make me go back there. I would also try scuba diving in Fiji as it is home to some of the most famed reefs in the world.

Dani

What was your favourite thing to do in Fiji & why?

Dancing on stage at Fiji Hideaway Coral Coast. It was heaps of fun and an epic cultural experience!

What was your favourite view?

Every sunrise was stunning, and by far, my most favourite view in Fiji!

What was your favourite resort & why?

The Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay had the best gym with a wide range of brand-new and latest equipment, including top-quality dumbbells and kettlebells. The rowing machine was my favourite!

Your favourite food or restaurant in Fiji?

It’s a tie between Radisson Blu Resort Fiji and Malamala Beach Club. Radisson has the most scrumptious chicken wings and Malamala specialises in gastronomy (you can taste it in every dish!). I ate raw tuna and loved it; I never thought I would say that! The Karaage Chicken from Malamala was the best I had so far—flavoursome and moreish.

What would make you go back to Fiji?

Kava drinking! I was indulging in tsunami-sized Kava bowls! Kava is a special drink made from the root of a native pepper plant and magically works as a relaxant.

Any last words?

Our VIP concierge Simon took such great care of us. He is extremely knowledgeable and is the life of the party!

TOP TIP: Take two pairs of swimmers so you can wear one while the other dries. No need for long pants or jumpers. Pack light!

David

I absolutely enjoyed travelling around the diverse main island and learning about the Fijian culture.

What was your favourite view?

It would be the view on the return boat trip from the My Fiji Tivua Island tour. The sunset view was out of this world!

We found nothing but hospitality among the locals. Everyone, from resort staff to locals on the street, is really kind to travellers.

The breakfast buffet at Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay. So much variety and fresh produce!

The entire experience. There is something for everyone in Fiji. Whether you want a lie-around-the-pool experience or an action-packed activity, Fiji has you covered.

What was your favourite thing to do in Fiji & why?

My Fiji Island tour. The entire experience was wonderful, from exploring Denarau Marina to spending hours on the island! I could even spend days on Tivua Island—absolutely gorgeous. My photos looked like I just stole them from the internet!

The ocean and palm trees view from our room at Sheraton Fiji Resort. Photos do not do justice!

What was your favourite resort & why?

I cannot decide between Outrigger and Sheraton. The Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort was stunning. It has incredible views and different spots where you can chill. I love the traditional style villa rooms. Sheraton Fiji Resort was equally beautiful. I also love that both resorts offer an adults-only area!

What surprised you about Fiji?

No matter where you go or what you are doing, the Fijian staff will go out of their way to make sure everything is 110%, and they do it with the biggest smiles on their faces! Even between hotel transfers, the locals would wave at you and say “Bula!”.

Your favourite food or restaurant in Fiji?

All the delicious, fresh tropical fruits! Being a vegetarian, I was basically in heaven! *drool*

What would make you go back to Fiji?

I would like to learn even more about the Fijian lifestyle. There is so much fascinating culture and I want to peel back all the layers!

Any last words?

You need not have kids or be on your honeymoon to enjoy Fiji! I certainly had this thought before going to the island but after the trip, I realised it was as good as a destination for singles or friends as it was for couples or families.

TOP TIP: It is warm in Fiji, so you do not need much in terms of clothes—light day clothes, swimmers and something a little heavier for the evening will do. You would probably spend most of your time in your swimmers anyway!

The islands are a must-see! I would love to go back for a scuba diving tour. Fiji has some of the most incredible reefs to be explored.
